Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have revealed all the big names taking part in the fun and chaos of the final Saturday Night Takeaway.

The popular entertainment show is back for its final outing on Saturday night after Ant and Dec confirmed the ITV programme would be taken off our screen following the 20th series for the foreseeable future. The duo know they've got to say goodbye in style - so what better way to kick things off than by bringing in all the celebrities they have pranked in the past?

While appearing on The One Show on Thursday evening, Ant and Dec discussed one of their popular segments which sees the comedy duo talking in the ears of celebrities and telling them to do certain embarrassing and unusual things. To switch things up for the final season, they reversed the roles.

This time, the stars will be talking in Ant and Dec's ears and telling them what to do. Dec said: "Stupidly, we said why do we for our final hidden camera stunts... Why don't we allow the people who we've tricked to go in our ears and they can tell us what to do? It seemed like a really good idea at the time."

They sent an invitation to everybody they've pranked and every single person said 'yes' to the idea. They went on to reveal who talked in their ears. Ant said: "The first people in my ear were Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond with a lovely little cameo from Richard Madeley."

Dec continued: "I had Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell in my ear so we did two separate ones with a cameo from Craig David." For the second prank, the duo went out to dinner at a restaurant covered in hidden cameras. Nobody but the cast and crew knew about what was happening.

Gino D'Acampo, Davina McCall, Holly Willoughby, Oti Mabuse, Rylan Clark, Olly Murs, and more took part in the segment. Late last year, Ant and Dec announced their plans to "rest" the Bafta-winning show before promising fans their plans to work on new TV formats.

Taking to Instagram, the smartly-dress pair announced they would be taking a break from the beloved TV show. Ant revealed: "We've got some news for you. Next year, in 2024, it will be our 20th series of Saturday Night Takeaway. And we've got some very special look-backs planned as well as some very exciting new items."

Dec continued: "And we've also decided that our 20th series will be our last one for a little while. The show takes up so much of a year we just feel like we need a little bit of a breather and the show is going to take a little bit of a rest. But before that, we've got the 20th series to plan," Ant remarked as Dec interjected: "And we're looking forward to it."
