Consolation prizes proved to be king as thousands over the two games secured a prize after picking three correct scores, and less than 200 players were able to celebrate a share of winnings for four correct predictions across the pair of gameweeks.

It was the two lucky players, standing alone above the rest in their respective rounds, who managed to single-handedly claim £20,000 for foreseeing the results of five fixtures correctly. Although only a certain percentage were able to make the most of consolation prizes, thousands of players were correct in predictions for each game.

Looking at last weekend’s Premier League focused round, over 11,000 players were right in their predictions for Newcastle’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest’s 2-0 win against West Ham.

It was the Fulham v Aston Villa game that proved to be tremendously successful for players. Unai Emery’s men won 2-1 as they travelled to Craven Cottage, and this saw over 85,000 players correctly guess the result, working out approximately at around a 31% success rate.

The most difficult ask for players of the 6 Scores Challenge involved Burnley and Arsenal. Arsenal entered this game off the back of a huge 6-0 win against West Ham, and likely had players scratching their heads as to how many they’d score.

They scored less than the previous week, but a 5-0 win left less than 2,500 players able to say they’d predicted that one correctly. However, as our £20,000 winners proved, you don’t need to get all six scores right to be a winner.

Another weekend offers up another chance at a share of £5,000, £10,000 and £20,000 consolation prizes. Could we be celebrating a perfect six scores and a winner of the £250,000 jackpot?

Saturday holds the key to a jackpot winner, with all six selected games being highlighted for that day alone. Four 15:00 kick off games are followed up with a 17:30 fixture, with the sixth and final game starting at 20:00.

The four earlier 15:00 kick off games consist of Aston Villa v Nottm Forest, Brighton v Everton, Crystal Palace v Burnley, and Fulham’s trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

The evening fixtures will see Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side head to Bournemouth at 17:30, and Arsenal try and reverse the 1-0 loss to Newcastle earlier in the season, when The Magpies head to the Emirates Stadium for the 20:00 game.
