M&S fans rush to snap up 'slimming' floral dress that 'ideal for spring'
We can always reply on Marks & Spencer to provide us with fashion inspiration for our seasonal wardrobes. In the retailer's newest drop, a gorgeous midi dress that comes in three different patterns has had shoppers sprinting to get their hands on it before it sells out.
The Round Neck Midi Tea Dress comes in a multi-coloured floral pattern as well as a black-and-white polka dot and blue-and-white ditsy flower style, and it's available in sizes six to 24, with lengths including petite, regular and long.
Costing just £39.50, the 'swishy' dress is the ultimate transitional piece thanks to its midi length and 3/4 arms, making it perfect to wear under a thick coat and tights or a more breathable, summery outfit with a denim jacket and sandals when the weather warms up.
Made from lightweight viscose, the dress is gorgeously flattering as it falls delicately, gliding over your torso and hips for a svelte silhouette. The high neck gives it an elegant edge that can easily be dressed up with a statement necklace and heels or down with a jumper and sneakers.

An 'anytime dress for any age' one woman in their 60s stated about the garment, adding: "Love this dress , fits perfect bought a 14 in blue and true to size the colours are nice and bright, material is light and falls softly around your calves very femine and fits nicely a round the waist . Bought for a christening and wore a nice pink jacket to set it off. For the money one of my better purchases. Perfect for any time of year too."
Another fashion fan remarked how it 'doesn't crease', making it travel-safe and easy to wash. "Beautiful stylish and comfortable dress. Doesn’t crease so always looks it’s best," they said.

Although a number wanted to clarify that the dress's midi length was slightly longer than expected - especially for those who purchase 'petite' sizing - for many coming down to their ankle instead of mid-shin, it didn't spoil the look with one saying: "Lovely frock. Very flattering fit but as others review rather long for a petite so will have to shorten it. The drape covers a round tummy and slims the whole look So pleased."
