Eamonn Holmes ripped to shreds for ranting he'd 'never date bitter Taylor Swift'

Eamonn Holmes has gone viral after he branded Taylor Swift "bitter" and claimed he'd never date her in a fiery rant on GB News.

The Anti-Hero hitmaker, 34, is currently loved-up with Travis Kelce and the two recently packed on the PDA after Travis', 34, team Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Las Vegas at the Super Bowl. Prior to this, Taylor had been dating Joe Alwyn and her other famous exes include John Mayer, Harry Styles and Joe Jonas - to name a few.

On a recent episode of GB News, Eamonn, 64, and his co-stars discussed the singer in a debate called: "Taylor Swift's long list of exes: popstar praised for trashing her exes in songs." However, Eamonn didn't hold back as he called Taylor "bitter" and insisted he would never date her.

The former This Morning star said: "Here’s my view on Taylor Swift. She is a bitter woman. She is bitter. I wouldn’t like to have dated her", adding: "She’s had quite a few boyfriends, and she isn’t very successful at holding onto them, and then the inevitable is that she writes a song and s***s them off in it."

However, former Labour Adviser Scarlett MccGwire was quick to point out "that's the price you pay" if you date the hitmaker. This prompted Eamonn to declare: "Well you've put me off, I'm not going out with her!"

Eamonn was quick to go viral thanks to Swifties, who are fans of Taylor Swift, for his comments. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person joked: "Taylor Swift has been simply SHAKEN by the revelation from Eamonn Holmes that he would not date her", a different account put: "I'm sure Taylor Swift will be heartbroken to know she doesn't stand a chance with our nation treasure Eamonn Holmes..." while another added: "#Breaking News emerge of Taylor Swift DEVASTATED after Eamonn Holmes refuses to date her."

Elsewhere, a different account quipped: "If anyone can hear a woman sobbing uncontrollably it will be Taylor Swift who has just been dealt the devastating news that Eamonn Holmes wouldn't date her", a different person put: "How will Taylor Swift get past this tragic revelation?" while another added: "I bet Taylor Swift is devastated."
