Kagney Linn Karter killed herself with a shotgun, officials have confirmed.
Yesterday the news emerged that the famous adult film star tragically took her own life at the age of 36, leaving friends and fans in shock. And now it has been confirmed that she died by suicide after using a shotgun.
According to Cuyahoga County officials, Kagney's cause of death is listed as an "intraoral shotgun wound", as per TMZ.

She was found dead at her home in Parma, Ohio. Her pals, who are raising funds for Kagney's funeral on GoFundMe, emotionally said: "the news sank like a stone in our hearts."

On February 10, Kagney shared a beaming herself on Instagram while donning a bikini.
The caption read: "Hi from Florida," showing her in a baby pink bikini, standing on a beach with the water around her feet.
This comes as the GoFundMe page for Kagney continues to garner attention and raise funds for her funeral. The page has now amassed more than $16,000.
As well as monetary donations, tributes have been paid on the page, with many fans sharing messages of condolence. One person penned: "In loving memory of a wonderful person . May you find the peace in heaven that you didn’t have on Earth."
Another said: "Kagney was magnetic and a ray of sunshine into every room. She walked into. For energy her smile will be truly missed."
And a third penned: "Kagney was a wonderful woman. She was beautiful and had a truly amazing voice that could have taken her so far if not for the public bias against her profession. I enjoyed talking to her about so many different topics, including our shared love of animals, and it truly hurts to know I'll never have a conversation with her again."
