Surprisingly good Samsung offer might convince you not to buy the new Galaxy S24

Samsung's all-new Galaxy S24 range, which includes the ultimate S24 Ultra, is certainly impressive with these devices featuring improved designs, bigger batteries and faster processors. They also get clever AI upgrades which can instantly edit images without the need for Photoshop, translate foreign calls in real time and even search for things on the web by simply circling an object in a photo. It's all clever stuff but before you splash the cash on one of these top-rated devices it's worth checking out a new deal from Amazon.

The online retailer currently has a deal on the incredibly impressive Galaxy Z Flip5 which features a neat design that allows it to snap in half. That makes this 6.7-inch device a lot easier to pop in your pocket. The Flip5, which was announced late last year, also gets a much bigger 3.4-inch cover display. This allows users to make calls, reply to messages and even view videos without ever opening the clamshell design.

Other extras include a decent dual-lens camera, extended battery life, speedy Qualcomm processor and fingerprint scanner. There's wireless charging and the battery can be refilled faster when using a wired USC-B connection.

At launch, this bendy call maker cost a whopping £1,049 but Amazon has just released a limited-time sale that cuts this price down to a much more reasonable £739 - that's £60 cheaper than the S24.

This is for the standard 256GB version. If that's not big enough for your needs don't panic. There's also money off the 512GB model as well with this device now just £855 - that's a massive £294 saving.

Of course, there are some compromsies buying the Z Flip5 over the S24 with Samsung's latest non-foldable flagship getting that smarter AI functionality along with improved cameras and a faster processor.

However, if you want to join the foldable revolution now is a very good and less expensive time to take the plunge.
