Britney Spears gives relationship update amid rumours she’s dating ex again

Britney Spears has insisted she is still single, despite being linked to an ex.

The Toxic singer said: "Being single is awesome," seemingly shutting down rumours she is back with her felon ex Paul Richard Soliz. The mother-of-two opened up about her love-life as she shared another dancing video on Instagram.

She said: "Beautiful Sunday. Hopeless romantic, understanding that being single is awesome." It came as it was reported the star was dating Soliz, a convicted felon who worked as her housekeeper to 'clean toilets, mop floors and pick up trash.'

Sources told Us Weekly Paul is very much back on the scene. One said: "Britney and Paul are definitely together. He's still in the picture." A second source confirmed the same, despite Britney declaring to fans she is still a free agent. Just last week Britney boldly declared she "loves" someone new, five months after her sad split from her husband of one year Sam Asghari.

The hitmaker broke the news to her 42million fans, revealing she could have a new love interest in her life. Britney has been updating her page in the run-up to Valentine's Day, uploading Cupid-themed posts all over her account.

She sent rumour mills into overdrive as she posed up a storm stood inside a private jet. She kept fans guessing as she captioned the shot "I love him." It comes after Britney showed off her moves as she danced around in a red latex bodysuit, complete with devil horns.

The 42-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday to share a video of the racy routine. Britney looked incredible wearing the skintight outfit, which was complete with a plunging neckline. As well as wearing devil horns, she waved around a trident.

Meanwhile Britney has left fans stunned with 'revelations' about her love-life. Just earlier this month Britney shocked fans by claiming she once "made out" with Ben Affleck. The Gimme More hitmaker made the cheeky claim on Instagram as she shared an old black-and-white photo of herself, Ben and Diane Warren.

While Britney praised Ben's acting skills, it was a saucy detail which caught everyone's attention. "Cool pic of me and Ben Affleck and Diane Warren years ago !!! He's such an amazing actor. Did I fail to mention I made out with Ben that night ... I honestly forgot ... damn that's crazy !!!" she wrote.

Britney added: "Wish I could tell you guys the story that happened before that !!! Oh dear, I'm just being a gossip girl !!! Psss I actually forgot !!!"
