Frankie Bridge rocks River Island coat in the perfect spring colour
Frankie Bridge is making us excited for spring fashion with the latest installment of her high-street fashion roundup, Frankie's Faves. While the focus of this week's reel was on jeans, the real stars of the show for us and a number of fans were a coat and jumper in the colour she predicts will be everywhere this year: yellow.
Sharing her first outfit with her 1.6 million followers, Frankie's Instagram reel began with an outfit from River Island which featured £38 Blue High Waisted Relaxed Straight Crop Jeans, a loose-fit grey knit jumper (£30) and a yellow button-up longline coat, £75.
She finished the look with a grey melton baseball style cap (£15), some black studded Mary Jane ballet pumps (£35), a black crinkle bum bag , £14.90 and some chunky gold drop earrings for £12.
Describing the jeans as perfect for everyday wear thanks to their "high waist and light wash", Frankie said: "I've added a simply grey [knit] and a pale yellow coat. Yellow is the colour to add to your wardrobe this year, we're going to be seeing a lot of it!

With side slip pockets, elegant notched lapels and long sleeves, this jacket is great for when you want to brighten up your outfit. Plus, thanks to its draped, long length, it lends itself well to being worn for work, a smart dinner or just a casual Sunday stroll.
With two beige buttons to fix it together, the single-breasted coat has River Island shopers swooning, with a number commenting on Frankie's post stating how much they loved it.
One remarked: "That yellow coat & yellow jumper are just [perfect]," followed by the ring gesture emoji.
Another added: "Love the yellow for spring flower."
It wasn't just the yellow coat receiving love as a yellow knitted top Frankie paired with a grey bomber jacket also earned some praise.
One fashion fan wrote: "All this denim with the yellow and grey. heading to @riverisland now."
While the coat has not received any bad remarks (and we can see why), we'd suggest avoiding wearing it on rainy days and in mucky areas - stains and marks will show up super easily! So either get yourself a good stain remover or take care when wearing it to keep it in tip-top condition.
The semi-fitted yellow worn by Frankie is a hit as well and features a gorgeous crew neckline and pearlescent buttons on the cuff, adding a touch of glamour. Throwing over the grey faux leather bomber jacket, £60, adds a certain level of drama that takes the knitted top from cute to edgy.
