Ben Foden shares ex Una Healy's response to birth of his new baby daughter

Ben Foden has revealed his ex-wife Una Healy's reaction to him becoming a father again.

The Saturdays star, 42, shares two kids, Aoife, 11, and Tadgh, eight, with the former rugby ace, 38, who is now married to wife, Jackie. Ben and Jackie, who live in the US and have a daughter Farrah, three, have just become parents for the second time after welcoming their daughter Olympia in January.

Opening up about Una's reaction to the news, Ben said: "She [Una] has and she said she’s really happy for us welcoming another baby into the family."

Una lives in her native Ireland with Aoife and Tadgh as Ben says the former couple are "pretty good" at co-parenting now. Speaking about their childcare arrangements, he said: "We’ve been co-parenting for the last five years and I think we’re pretty good at it now."

He continued to OK! magazine : "Me having another baby won’t change anything and I appreciate how much she takes the reins with Aoife and Tadgh. For us, it’s all about communication and I think she also appreciates the reprieve we give her when the kids visit for a few weeks during the summer and at Christmas."

Ben and Jackie shared the news today that they have welcomed their second child together in January after heartbreakingly suffering three miscarriages in 12 months.

The England star - who married Jackie in August 2019 just two months after they started dating - shared the news of their new arrival on Instagram, writing: "This last year has been by far my toughest and most turbulent for a number of reasons that many of you I’m sure are aware of, in some way or another.

"The world has a funny way of working things out, many people think I’m a bad person - as I’m sure they’ll be many nasty comments left under this post by keyboard warriors a plenty. But I met a girl who seriously swept me off my feet and in a time of hardship showed me love, a deep devoted love. People will say we are mad or crazy or even fools, as @snackyjax and I had only been dating seriously for a little over 2 weeks before deciding to get married. But when someone like her comes in to your life, why would I wait?"
