The BRIT Awards is really taking shape after organisers confirmed two more artists will be taking to the stage.

The star-studded line up, which already includes RAYE and Kylie Minogue, has now been boosted with electro group Jungle and Nigerian Afrowave star Rema confirmed for the O2 Arena in London on March 2. Both acts have received debut nominations this year, with Jungle up for Group of the Year.

Rema is in contention for International Song of the Year after single Calm Down went down a storm. The 23-year-old, who previously sold-out headline show at venue, took to social media to say: "I am honoured to be returning to The O2 to perform at The BRIT Awards this year."

Speaking about their performance in a couple of weeks, Jungle said they were thrilled to be taking part: "It's an honour for us to be asked to perform at this year's BRIT Awards," the group said. "We're really excited to be part of such an amazing showcase for British music."

Kylie will perform at the event next month and will take home the award that'll recognise her five decade long career. She is also up for the international artist of the year alongside Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and Lana Del Rey. The Australian star will take to the stage alongside already-announced stars Dua Lip.

It comes after her iconic anthem Padam Padam failed to land a nod when the nominations for Best International Song were announced. Padam Padam scored Kylie her first top 10 single in 12 years back in May, peaking Number Eight on the UK Top 40, and quickly developed into a pop culture moment.

RAYE, who is a BRIT School alumni, is nominated for Artist of the Year, Mastercard Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Pop Act, R&B Act, and for Song of the Year with Mastercard - in which she receives two nominations, for Prada with cassö and D-Block Europe, and for Escapism ft 0207 Shake, making her the most nominated artist in any one year to date.

The BRIT Awards was hit with controversy last year when no female artists made the final shortlist for Artist of the Year – which was subsequently won by Harry Styles. The British Phonograph Industry, who organise the annual event, have stated that gender balance has been readdressed following last year's outrage.
