EastEnders' Shona McGarty reignites engagement rumours with Valentine's Day snap
There's renewed speculation that Shona McGarty and her partner David Bracken are engaged after the couple shared photos from their Valentine's Day celebrations this week.
The actor, 32 - who's best known for playing Whitney Dean on EastEnders - marked the occasion on Wednesday with musician David. The pair took to Instagram to share photos with their followers after enjoying a meal out together.
They showed Shona and David - who's the lead guitarist of the band Blessed - posing together in a restaurant. The couple - who went public with their romance last year - were also seen modelling their outfits whilst at home.

She wrote: "What an absolutely beautiful evening ... with my world, partner in crime, my everything."
Her partner David shared some photos directly in a joint post with Shona. He wrote in the caption: "Happy Valentine's Day to the most beautiful amazing woman I know." He added: "[Shona] you looked and always look amazing."

The actor was seen modelling a red dress in them, whilst David opted for a black shirt and matching trousers for the night. Shona was seemingly wearing a ring on her left hand. It's presence in the photos shared this week however has fuelled speculation that the couple are engaged.
The posts prompted supportive messages from fans and someone commented on one of them: "Are you two engaged? Looking absolutely [gorgeous] in red." The comment was met with a few likes, however some fans pointed out the photograph may have been reversed. "Can clearly see she is wearing a ring. But not everyone is aware of mirror image," one fan remarked.

She was spotted wearing it, seemingly on her left hand again, towards the end of last year, which sparked was speculation in October that she had got engaged.
The couple have been known to post about their relationship on social media, including sharing photos from her sister's wedding last year. There's also been footage of them performing together, with the pair both musicians.
And one post shared by David in September last year, which showed a pair of hands together, had the caption: "A promise is a promise. Never to be broken." Shona posted the same photo but shared a wrote that's been attributed to the late John Lennon in her caption. It read: "Love is a promise, love is a souvenir, once given, never forgotten, never let it disappear."
