Mum of murdered pregnant teen Savanah Soto arrested in courtroom
A mother whose pregnant daughter was gunned down in a shocking case has been arrested in the middle of a court hearing. Gloria Cordova, mother of Savanah Soto who went missing with her boyfriend on December 23rd has been arrested during Ramon Preciado's bond reduction hearing.
Preciado is one of the three people facing charges in the shocking deaths of Soto, 18, and and her boyfriend Mathew Guerra, 22. Police have charged him with abuse of a corpse and for altering/destroying/concealing a human corpse, which is what he was appearing in court for a bon reduction hearing of when the shock court room arrest happened.
It is believed that his charges come from helping his son Christopher Ray Preciado, 19, move the couple's bodies after an alleged drug deal gone wrong. The father has been in Bexar County Jail since he was arrested on January 3.

Soto's mother was arrested in the courtroom (ksat.com)Suddenly, during a break at the hearing, onlookers noticed that Cordova was being forced out of the courtroom in handcuffs. She did not say anything, and walked out of the court with the sheriffs.

It was later revealed that she was facing a misdemeanor charge from a different incident for failing to stop and give up information, a spokesperson for the BSCO told ABC affiliate KSAT. Following the arrest, Preciado had his bond reduced for one of the two disturbing charges brought against him on Monday.
The judge decided to reduce his bonds to a total of $450,000.
Soto was a teen mother set to be induced (Rivera Kass/Facebook)If he can get the money together in order to receive bail, Preciado cannot speak to the families of the young victims and would also need to turn in his passport, have weekly in-person drug and alcohol screening, and constant GPS monitoring.
Preciado is not the only person who had their bond reduced. 47-year-old Myrta Romanos is facing three charges related to the double homicide including tampering with evidence, altering/destruction/concealing a human corpse, and the abuse of a corpse however her bond for the tampering with evidence charge from $500,000 to $200,000.

Heavily pregnant, Soto was set to have her labor induced the previous day, causing serious concern amongst her family. But tragedy was imminent.
Their bodies were found on December 26, inside a gray Kia Optima in the parking lot of the Colinas at Medical Apartments.
Police and the Bexar County Medical Examiner ruled their causes of death as a double homicide with both having suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Surveillance footage was released by authorities showing who they believe were the people of interest and the manhunt began.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus confirmed that this was not Guerra.

When speaking of the tragedy, Cordova was heartbroken over what happened to her daughter and shared her grief publically.
"I hope they pay for whatever they did to my daughter," she told CBS affiliate KENS-TV.
"They took an innocent, an innocent girl that was going to be a mommy, they just took her life for nothing.
"Savanah was so, so happy because she was going to be a mommy.

Savanah's grandmother Rachel Soto also commented to KSAT-TV : "We should be having a celebration of her and her baby for the New Year, and we’re not doing that."
The arrest of one of the victim's mothers in court has become a shocking turn in an already devastating story.
