Brit man's seven-word message as he taunts Interpol with Facebook holiday video
An audacious Brit wanted over a deadly road smash has shared a taunting message online appearing to be sunning it abroad.
Ewan Corbett posted a video on Facebook showing his travels abroad as he goaded Interpol. The 25-year-old from Middlesborough has been wanted since 2022 when he failed to show up for a court hearing following a crash which killed a 21-year-old man.
The Mirror previously reported how Corbett fled the county ahead of the case before travelling to Asia under a fake identity. Since then, he has continued to post updates on social media with pictures showing him in Switzerland, Thailand and Vietnam.
Corbett, whose name has also previously been spelt as Euan, took to Facebook again this week as he made another brag, saying "f*** you, Interpol". Appearing in his sunglasses, a video montage of him walking through a field and on a boat to the background track of "row, row, row your boat".
Interpol previously issued a red notice for Corbett's arrest after police were stunned to see he'd posted a picture of himself posing with a toy gun in Malaysia. But on Saturday, Corbett posted on his own Facebook page, stating: "You had your chance now I’m gone."

He previously taunted authorities with a picture of him posing with a toy gun (Facebook/euan.corbett.528)The video also featured screengrabs of The Mirror's story, before showing him in sunglasses and an Under Armour shirt as he turns the camera on himself, saying: "F**k you Interpol, in a bit".
The video then shows him travelling on the boat, ending with Corbett saying: “Ola, baby.” The video is captioned: "Seems my claim to innocence didn’t make the media but everything else has here’s one for you Interpol put this in your pipe and smoke it.
"You had your chance now I’m gone". His Facebook page claims he is currently based in Hanoi, Vietnam. North Yorkshire Police previously issued a wanted appeal for Corbett over his court no-show for the 2020 fatal crash, which killed 21-year-old Shane Finn.

Corbett appeared to be sunning it abroad in the audacious clip (Facebook/euan.corbett.528)The force said Corbett was from Thornaby, North Yorkshire, and that he was believed to have left the UK and was travelling overseas. A spokesperson said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate Corbett who is believed to be travelling abroad. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and pass information quoting reference 12220223748. If you prefer to remain anonymous, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
At the hearing at York Crown Court in January, prosecutor Timothy Jacobs said: "[He] has been moving around south-east Asia, using a false name and paying bribes to get into countries. There is an Interpol red notice out on him and an EU arrest warrant.
"However, the CPS are reluctant to commence full extradition proceedings until police can confirm an exact location for him. There is ongoing work, and intelligence officers have been looking at his social media accounts to identify a location. The Interpol warning is a step down from a warrant. If he enters any non-EU country regulated by Interpol then they have the option to arrest him, but it is not a requirement."
