Carol Vorderman had fans in awe as she showed off her new look inspired by Miley Cyrus at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

The presenter, 63, was impressed by Miley's bouffant hair at the event. The 31-year-old Flowers singer had all eyes on her when she arrived on the red carpet wearing a custom gold Maison Margiela pin dress and voluminous hair reminiscent of her godmother Dolly Parton's style.

Carol was quick to try out the hairstyle as she showed off her blonde curls on Instagram with her 564,000 followers. The TV star rocked a turtleneck top and tight leather trousers as she transformed into a modern-day Barbarella. She completed the look with a dramatically large belt.

"Tried to go all @mileycyrus Grammys paying homage to her godmother @dollyparton..for filming," Carol captioned the mirror selfie.

Fans were loving the transformation and rushed to the comment section to compliment her, with one user saying: "You look fabulous," while another added: "Looking amazing [heart emoji] So beautiful." One impressed follower wrote: "Looking great again, Carol!"

Miley's hairstylist Bob Recine recently discussed the popstar's teased look. "I’ve been working with Miley for a long time and tonight we wanted to create different than last year, with a style that felt like it had a '70s, Barbarella feel while still having a modern, punk edge," he told PEOPLE.

"By creating a big hair look, while still leaving some of the teasing visible, it allows the look to maintain a fresh, sexy feeling." Miley won the first Grammy Award of her career for Best Pop Solo Performance for her 2023 hit Flowers, which was the lead single from her eighth studio album Endless Summer Vacation.

Taking to social media, fans of Miley and viewers of the Grammy's were quick to share their thoughts on the singer's new look. Many flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter. One person said: "Miley Cyrus big hair is giving me Dynasty – 80s soap opera – vibes." Another added: "I loved Miley’s hairdresser’s tribute to Kurt Russell."

While a third hilariously penned: "Miley Cyrus looked like ‘The Crown’ version of Margaret Thatcher tonight." And a fourth added: "When you realize Miley is trying to channel Tina Turner’s curls and big hair with that damn wig." Before the latest Grammys, Miley earned eight nominations in total to her name but no wins.

Her achievements for Flowers beat the likes of Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift.
