It's not often you get something for nothing but that's exactly what Argos is dishing out right now. The UK retailer has launched a blockbuster offer that basically gives customers a new Nintendo Switch OLED without paying the usual £309.99 asking price. For those not aware, the Switch OLED is the newest portable console from Nintendo and offers gamers a more impressive 7-inch screen to play their favourite Mario games on.

So how does this deal work and how do you make that massive saving?

The Argos offer is thanks to a promotion on LG's OLED TVs. If you place certain models in your Argos shopping basket and then add the Switch OLED you get a total of £309.99 off the total bill - that means you don't pay anything for that console.

There are plenty of different TV models to choose from including LG's 42-inch OLED 4K display which starts from £999.

Depending on screen size and features prices then rise from there with the most premium 83-inch version costing a cool £3,999.
