Kevin Clifton oozes confidence as he rocks platform heels at WhatsOnStage Awards
Kevin Clifton turned the red carpet into a catwalk as he rocked platform heels at the WhatsOnStage Awards.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 41, sported black high-heels as he arrived on the red carpet at the London Palladium on Sunday. Aside from the heels, he donned a casual white t-shirt and navy satin-syle trousers with a matching jacket. Kevin kept his hands in his pockets as he posed for endless photos.
He looked at ease as he expertly walked around in the platform heels. The professional dancer joined the likes of James Norton, Nicole Scherzinger and Aime Lou Wod at last night's event. After the ceremony, he took to social media to explain why he opted to wear heels.
"Everbody’s Talkin About … @jamiemusical Gave my Loco Chanelle practice heels a run out this evening presenting Best Choreography award to @mattcoledance @whatsonstage awards @thelondonpalladium [high heel emoji]," he posted on Instagram for his 391,000 followers.

"Fantastic! Can you wear bright red ones next time so they stand out more. That would be epic," one user suggested and another posted: "I wish I could walk in such beautiful shoes!" Kevin's evening out comes a few weeks after he and Stacey Dooley celebrated their daughter Minnie's first birthday.
The couple, who met on Strictly Come Dancing and are now together, welcomed Minnie last January. They pulled out all the stops for their little girl's special day. The proud parents were beaming as they posed with their daughter, who is their only child. Stacey wrote in one of her posts: "Spent the entire weekend celebrating our baby g. My best best little pal is ONE.
"To all our dearest pals and fam who made such an effort...what can I say? We are v v lucky," the presenter and documentarian added. So touched. Kev, first year? COMPLETED IT MAAAAATE," the star, who is also a BBC documentary maker, continued on her page. She then posted a photo of her and Kevin hugging in front of a gold tinsel curtain.
"The blurriness is v v v representative of the last 12 months," Stacey told her followers. "WELL DONE US. LOVE U KING KEV." The pair, who usually keep their daughter away from the spotlight, went all-out for Minnie's first birthday. They chose a baby pink theme for the desserts and decorated the party with flower displays and more.
