Dancing On Ice viewers were concerned for the stars after many suffered falls and injuries in this series.

Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi was the latest contestant to get voted off the show. The actor, who was partnered with Sylvain Longchambon, sprained her shoulder during training sessions. Olympic long jumper & presenter Greg Rutherford couldn't participate in the dress rehearsal after suffering a hamstring injury.

Unfortunately, the two stars' injuries negatively affected their routines. It wasn't the only issue in the show as Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas stumbled and slipped two times during his performance, with his skate toe pick being blamed for the unfortunate falls.

Fans were concerned about the safety of the show as they rushed to social media to question the many blunders occurring this series.

One user commented: "Must be a record for injuries on the show in one week falls on ice make me wince," while another commented: "Everyone making mistakes tonight is the ice more slippery than normal tonight..." One concerned user said: "I was wondering the same or if it hadn't been 'cleaned' thoroughly before starting the show!"

"A million ways to fall on the ice," a viewer said and another posted: "Oh bless Ryan suppose at least it wasn’t the jump that made him fall. Was it him Chris suggested trying to hockey skates to avoid the toe picks too?" Meanwhile, fans were left questioning a comment made by judge Jayne Torvill after Ryan's routine.

The remaining contestants Amber Davies, Greg Rutherford, Roxy Shahidi, Ryan, Ricky Norwood, Miles Nazaire, Lou Sanders, Eddie “the Eagle” Edwards and Adele Roberts took on Musicals Week, performing to stay on the series. The series' presenters Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern were on hand to front the programme.

When Ryan fell on the ice twice, with his skate toe pick blamed for the falls, something Jayne told him in her feedback left some viewers confused. Jayne had apparently told Ryan at the end of her critique: "Good luck for next week." Rushing to X, viewers questioned the comment unsure how she would know he would be on the series next weekend.

Of course, she was likely advising him in case he did get another shot the following week, and it was more a comment if he made it through.

But some fans were unsure about this, with one writing: "Does Jayne Torvill know something we don't? Her words to Ryan, 'Good luck for next week'. You wouldn't word it that way if Ryan were automatically included?" Another said: "Jayne saying 'good luck for next week' to Ryan. Does she know something we don’t?"
