A former Playboy Bunny has told how she cheated on Hugh Hefner with boxer David Haye.

Zoe Gregory, an English model who lived in the Playboy mansion in the early Noughties, said she met ‘The Hayemaker’ when he came to LA at the start of his career and fought fellow boxer Vance Winn before “sweeping her off her feet”. The 2003 fight was held on the grounds of the notorious mansion and despite being in a long-term relationship with Hef and married to British DJ Chris Paul at the time, Zoe was irresistible to Haye’s charms and describes her connection with him as “crazy electric”.

Detailing how she “put on make-up, ran down and started flirting with him” as soon as he finished the fight, which saw him knock out his US opponent Winn in just 54 seconds, Zoe said Haye – now famous for his open ‘throuple’ relationships – wasn’t grossed out by her being Hef’s girlfriend and claimed they arranged to meet at his hotel before he flew back to the UK.

Former Page 3 model Zoe, now 49, said she put on a nice bikini and thought they were going to lie by the pool and chat, but Haye asked her to come up to his room when she got there and opened the door, he was wearing just a pair of Calvin Klein boxers. Speaking about how different Haye was from her other lovers, she told The Sun: “I had only ever dated Average Joes before then. I’d never been with someone with muscles and such an incredible figure. He was just out of the shower and I could smell his aftershave. We had chemistry... we couldn’t even look at each other when we spoke – that is how strong the tension was.

"Ten seconds went by and then he came over and picked me up and threw me on the bed. No one had ever done that to me before and I thought ‘hero’. It was a hot 15 minutes and to be honest, it was the best sex I have ever had – at least at the time. It was rampant and crazy and electric. David absolutely loved it and afterwards, he told me, ‘You can’t leave – I’ve never felt anything like that in my life.’”

Zoe has made claims about her affair with Haye in her new book, From Britain To Bunny, and said this is the first time she has ever spoken about it as she didn’t tell any of the other girls at the mansion for fear it could turn Hef against her. She didn’t breathe a word to her husband either and said “What happened has always been my secret”.

Also detailed in the book is how she swapped a life of crime in the UK selling fake ecstasy tablets at raves to become a top glamour model in the US, who would move into the Playboy Mansion in 2001 and become Hef’s number two girlfriend. At the time Hef was in his 70s and had to rely heavily on viagra to perform in the bedroom and Zoe said that although Hef “made so many of my dreams come true, I didn’t see it as a genuine, loving relationship. I saw it as a job.”

In 2004 Hef ended the relationship and Zoe was forced to move out of the mansion. Instead of him finding out about her fling with Haye, she believes it was because she fell out with his number one girlfriend at the time, Holly Madison. Hef died in 2017 at the age of 91.

Zoe, who is now separated from her husband Chris and works as a flight attendant on private flights in Miami where she lives, said she kept in touch with Haye but they never got to hook up again because he was always in a relationship. She added: “I saw him recently in Miami and I told him, ‘I’ve written a book and you’re in it’. He said, ‘No way.’ And I said, ‘Don’t worry, it’s all good things.’” The Mirror has contacted reps for David Haye for comment on this story.
