The Fun House twins have fans speechless as they've barely aged 25 years on
The Fun House twins have stunned with their youthful looks, 25 years after appearing on the popular kids' show.
Melanie and Martina Grant were just 16 when they shot to fame on the CITV show. They worked on the programme for ten years, up until it came to an end in 1999. The sisters now look almost identical to their teenage selves, years on from appearing on screens. Both stars shared a selfie together as they celebrated their 51st birthday.
They poked fun at their youthful appearance, as Martina wrote: "Happy birthday to us my Mel, wow 25 still so young!" On the classic kids show, Melanie and Martina would wave their pom-poms in identical yellow and red cheerleading outfits. Melanie was team red, while Martina was yellow.

On social media, many fans gushed over the twins, as one said: "Wow! Still looking good ladies! Loved that show so much. Good to see you doing well." Another added: "You two are just beyond adorable! #youtwodontageatall #50yearsyoung."
Pat Sharp, who also worked on the show, launched a petition in 2017 to get the show back on air. It called for a giant set to be built so the public could go along and play all the wacky games from the iconic programme. Taking to social media, he said: THIS. IS. OUR. NEWS! Together we can re-run the fun! Support our campaign to #BringBackFunHouse." The TV show saw two teams of a boy and girl representing schools from across the UK take part in three rounds. The first round was called messy games where one game would be for the two boys, another game for the two girls and a third game for all four players.

Round two was the Fun Kart Grand Prix, where the teams raced around a track to pick up tokens. The final round saw the contestants enter the Fun House to collect prize tags and answer a question correctly within ten seconds. In 2015, the format was revived for one time only as four teams relived the show for a live event.
They appeared on The Fun House with Pat Sharp and have stayed in touch (ITV)Host Pat said at the time: "The return of Fun House as a one-off live event was as wacky, fun and outrageous as you could wish for! It was a brilliant twist to allow adults to take part this time around and we had such an exciting day re-running the fun, with prizes, gunge, and all the excitement you would expect from Fun House!”
Four parents and their children formed the red, yellow, blue and green teams for the big return, which came as part of a partnership between pub restaurant Fayre & Square and play centre Wacky Warehouse. Melanie and Martina donned their red and yellow cheerleading costumes once more for the event.
After the Fun House, the twins launched a music career where they released an album titled A Twin Thing. It was released in Japan, but was unfortunately less successful elsewhere. They have also starred in pantomime performances and in the 1989 Batman movie. Melanie went on to marry, but tragically her firefighter husband is said to have died of leukaemia in 2009. Martina also married but divorced in 2009. She has since married again and welcomed a boy in 2012 and a girl in 2015.
