Peter Andre has admitted his eldest son Junior is "disappointed" in his parenting.

The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 50, is set to become a dad again and already shares son Junior, 18, and daughter Princess, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price. He went on to marry Emily, who is currently pregnant, and they share two children - nine-year-old Amelia and Theo, six. Peter and Emily announced their baby joy last October by sharing an adorable snap of the couple holding their pregnancy scan photo.

Since announcing their news, Peter has reflected on how his parenting has changed over the years. He said: “In terms of the relationship with my kids, I always say how being a parent is first and foremost the job. That's a given. But also being a friend is important as it means they can open up to you and they can talk to you."

Speaking on his GB News show with Emily, Peter confessed: “Now Junior, my eldest, is a bit disappointed in my parenting because I was so strict with him and then with the other two. But I'm not as strict now. As each child came along, I became less and less strict.” Emily added: "Who's the strictest one? I think it's a balance.

"I learned a lot from Pete as well, but you've got to be strict and have those boundaries. They have to know that there's love there as well." Peter announced the pregnancy as he shared a photo of himself and Emily, 34, holding scans of their baby. He wrote alongside the pic: "We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024. The kids are so excited. So are we."

Reacting to the news Princess left a very simple comment under Peter's post reading: "Congratulations [red heart emoji]." Junior previously admitted he didn't want any more siblings as he feared for a huge age gap. Speaking in 2021, Junior revealed he wanted neither parent to welcome any more kids.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, he said: "I think the age gap would be too big. If Emily got pregnant now that means the baby would be born when I’m almost 17 and I don’t think the same strong bond would be there. I’ll be close to moving out of the house. I want to be the big brother they love so much and not someone they hardly ever see. I also have six siblings already so there are quite a few of us."

In the same year, when asked about plans to extend his family by OK!, Peter replied "Hell to the no!" He added: "I did say we had this year to decide and I didn’t want to be changing nappies after I’m 50, but because of Covid I’ve pushed it back a year to 51!" Ahead of the arrival of her new baby brother or sister, Peter's daughter Princess revealed how her dad and mum Katie Price do things very differently when it comes to raising children.

Sharing what she has learned from her famous parents, Princess told Heat Magazine: "I've learned a lot from them both in the industry, and it's been a massive help. Dad has always given me great advice. Although he can be strict sometimes, as I've grown older, I understand now that he's giving me the best advice to become the best person I can be." Princess admitted that her mum is much more relaxed about her showbiz career, while Peter can get a bit "stressed" at times.
