Vicky Pattison forced to undo leather trousers live on air after eating too much

Vicky Pattison revealed she was forced to awkwardly unzip the top of her trousers midway through a radio show after feeling bloated.

The 36-year-old Geordie Shore said she made a "piggy of herself" after eagerly devouring plates of food since returning to the MasterChef studio. Vicky had been a finalist on the BBC cookery show's celebrity version but lost out to Olympic champion Greg Rutherford in 2019.

The TV star hosted Heart FM on Friday evening following a session of sampling dishes on MasterChef. However, Vicky struggled to get comfortable during her latest radio stint, as her leather trousers poked her in the stomach. She joked that the clothing item "no longer fits her" after she scoffed the delicious meals.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, she quipped: "Keeping things classy and professional @thisisheart. But I made a piggy of myself on @masterchefuk, trying all the gorgeous meals that my slinky leather trousers no longer fit.. so this is me I'm afraid."

It comes after Vicky's former cast member Ricci Guarnaccio heaped praise on the TV star and begged her to return to Geordie Shore back in December. Taking to Instagram he said: "Vicky Pattison why don't you get the muzzle off your face, put your big girl pants on and give MTV a call and let's get you on the next series of Geordie Shore and give the fans what they want.

"There's probably not that many series of Geordie Shore left and I know your management have got you absolutely whipped where you are not allowed to have a conversation about me or even Geordie Shore, the channel and the show which gave us all everything. It will only be right before the show ends for me and you to at least have one mature conversation. So, you're a big girl now, everyone's matured and everyone's grown up so let's give the fans what they want next series."

However, Vicky has come a long way since appearing on the reality show. She won I'm A Celebrity in 2015, hosted I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp in 2016, and was a segment presenter on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway a few years later in 2020. Vicky also hosts her weekly podcast The Secrets To, where she has interviewed a range of celebrities.

In August, it was announced that Vicky was set to join Heart FM as the brand-new presenter of Drive across the North East, joining the likes of Amanda Holden and Emma Bunton. Previously, the TV star revealed she had manifested her dream job as it had been "on her vision board" for years.
