Chocolate cake is one of life's little pleasures, and even if you don't class yourself as a cook, this divine recipe needs just two ingredients - and you don't have to worry about putting it in the oven either.

Baking can be tricky - trying to measure out the exact ingredients, putting it in the oven for the perfect amount of time so it doesn't go dry, all while trying to not go overboard on sweetness. But one fan favourite is a classic chocolate cake - and this one requires little skill needed for perfect results every time.

The indulgent chocolate cake sounds like it comes with an extremely long ingredients list and a tricky method to cook, but with two ingredients and no baking it's easier than ever. Shared by healthy food blogger Kelsi Boocick (@healthykelsii) on Instagram, she chimed: "This is quite possibly the best recipe I've made - I can't believe how easy it is!!

"Remember when sweet potato brownies broke the internet years ago? I think it needs to happen again with this cake!" And similarly, this no-bake formula holds a thick and creamy consistency thanks to the richness of dark chocolate and softness of sweet potatoes.

So all you need are two large sweet potatoes cut into small cubes, and 200g of dark chocolate. You can also make a topping if you wish, and this requires just 100g dark chocolate and half a cup of coconut milk.

To make the super easy cake, Kelsi instructed to first steam the potato for around 20 minutes, or until soft. You also need to melt your chocolate in a bowl over boiling water.

Once melted and the sweet potato is soft, add them both into a blender until smooth and then pour into a lined baking tray and put in the fridge to set in place. Athough it will take a while to set, it's much easier than needing to pop in the oven.

If you want to make the frosting topping, Kelsi simply said add the chocolate and coconut milk to a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water on a low heat. Once hot, pour over the cake mix and place back in the frige. She advised to leave it over night, and to serve up with fresh berries.
