Hollyoaks viewers can expect big scenes ahead for two residents in the village, as they both continue to hide dark secrets.

The tragic crash last month, that claimed the lives of two people, is still causing upheaval as residents struggle in the fallout. Ste Hay is still harbouring the dark truth about his involvement in the crash, and the fact he killed Ella Richardson.

Viewers will see him struggling next week, leading to a killer confession - while one star has confirmed the real killer of Ella. Elsewhere, newcomer Kitty Draper could be hiding more than one bombshell after her recent arrival.

She too is hiding that she was at the scene of the crash, fleeing while stealing a victim's identity. There are also hints she could be linked to another character in the village.

Ella Richardson's real killer

Hollyoaks has seemingly confirmed whether a twist is on the way over Ella Richardson's real killer, after fans "rumbled the truth". Ste Hay actor Kieron Richardson has addressed theories that his character didn't really kill Ella last month during the horror car crash stunt.

Ste caused a pile-up after speeding, as he tried to get his young daughter Leah Barnes to hospital to save her life. Leah had suffered alcohol poisoning and was choking, causing Ste to take his eyes off the road.

We later learned that he ran over and killed Leah's friend Ella in the accident, before he sped off and left the scene. No one has discovered his involvement in the crash yet, while spoilers for next week reveal he's set to make a killer confession.

Felix Westwood has been blamed for the crash and Ella's death, while it's known Felix did not hit Ella with his car so surely it's only a matter of time until Ste could be exposed. Now, actor Kieron has responded to the idea that someone else other than Ste ran over and killed Ella.

While one of her boots was shown lodged in his front wheel, seemingly confirming his crime, fans have been convinced it's all a red herring. Viewers suggested somebody else killed Ella at the scene, and perhaps Ste drove over her boot instead.

But now the truth has been revealed, with Kieron spilling the beans on who really is to blame. He also revealed the truth would come out at some point.

He revealed: "I think in real life the guilt would take over and at some point he would have to tell, obviously we live in a soap world so it's going to come out to everybody at some point, it just has to. I think as a young girl to find out your father's killed your best friend, and let’s not forget Leah was in the car when it happened, and Ste wouldn’t have been in that situation if Leah didn’t drink at the rave.

"I see a lot of the audience feedback, like no Ste wouldn't do that, he just ran over a boot, it was somebody else. I really don't think there is a twist, but then again, it's Hollyoaks, so never say never but as far as I’m aware Ste did kill Ella, so sorry."

Kitty's link to village revealed and secret exposed?

Kitty finds her dark secret under threat next week, amid fans being convinced there's more to her recent arrival on the show. The character made a dramatic debut on the Channel 4 soap last month during the huge car crash stunt, with Kitty stealing someone's identity before fleeing the scene.

Kitty's real name is Ivy Shaw, and she was a passenger in one of the cars that crashed. The driver was the real Kitty, and she was killed instantly at the scene. Ivy stole her identification and has lived as Kitty in the village ever since.

But fans think there's more to this and the crash, and it could be linked to the death of teenager Ella Richardson. Spoilers for next week's episodes reveal that as Kitty gets closer to one resident, she finds herself under suspicion with another.

Talk of the recent crash leaves her suffering a panic attack, as she desperately conceals what she did. Kitty AKA Ivy realised the driver had died and fled the scene, not staying and not helping any of the trapped or injured residents.

No one knows she was there, or that she has stolen the identity of the victim killed in the crash. As police detective Zoe's mention of the crash leaves Kitty rattled, she seeks comfort in Beau and soon calms down.

But Theresa has a question of her own that leaves her startled once more. Theresa, who was also in the crash and was left trapped as Kitty ran past her, asks Kitty about where she may have seen her before.

Theresa claims to recognise her from somewhere, and in a panic she kicks Theresa out of the pub. While Theresa does apologise, Beau is confused over their apparent link and leaves Kitty annoyed - so is she hiding something else?

It comes as viewers became convinced that Ste Hay wasn't the one who killed Ella in the crash, with the teen hit by a car. Viewers are now wondering if the real Kitty was the person who killed Ella, and that this might be why Ivy is so panicked about the crash and Ella's death.

One viewer posted online: "The way she acted when she heard Ella's name," as another said: "I think it was the car she was in that hit Ella." A third viewer posted: "Could it be possible that Kitty, who was driving the car that Ivy was in.... the same Kitty whose identity she stole... is the car that actually killed Ella?"

A fourth said: "Wait, what if it wasn't actually Ste or Felix who accidentally hit poor Ella but the random stranger whose identify Kitty's clearly now stolen?"
