Pink brought her stadium show to a halt as she noticed a woman going into labour in the mosh pit of the venue.

The So What singer was performing at her first show in Sydney, Australia for the first time in six years. As she sang Our Song, she was alerted as the crowd waved their hands to get attention that the woman was going to give birth.

A medic ended up wheeling the expectant mother out of the pit in a wheelchair. But the mother-to-be seemed to be in good spirits as she waved to the crowd as she left.

"Is it Alecia or Alex being born right now?" Pink yelled from the stage. The 44-year-old was referencing her birth name, Alecia Beth Moore.

She then told the crowd: "I feel like we shouldn't be looking." She then joked: "Everyone give her privacy!"

The expectant mother didn't seem to respond, and Pink was heard trying to check in that the baby wasn't born at that very moment. "She didn’t just have the baby, right? Is the baby here? No? Okay," she said before adding: "Congratulations!"

Pink has two kids of her own, Willow Sage Hart, 12, and Jameson Moon Hart, seven. She shares them with her husband, professional motorcross racer Carey Hart, who she married in 2006.

The star later expressed confusion that the woman went into labour during her 2023 hit Our Song. She added: "I thought it would have been like ‘Get the Party Started’ or ‘Never Gonna Not Dance Again,’" she said referencing two of her other hit songs.

Pink wished the mother good luck before continuing on with the show, which was taking place at Allianz Stadium. The show was her first on the Australian leg of her Summer Carnival tour.

She's no stranger to odd things occurring during her concerts. Last year, the artist was performing at the BST Hyde Park festival in London when a fan threw their mother's ashes on stage.

Pink was in the middle of singing Just Like A Pill when the bag was thrown at her feet. Curiously, she picked up the bag and asked the fan: "This is your mum? I don't know how to feel about this." She then gently put the bag back down on the stage before finishing her song.
