Loose Women has been a fixture of the television schedules for almost 25 years and shows no sign of losing its appeal.

Nobody knows the secrets behind Loose Women’s success more than Coleen Nolan, who’s been with the award-winning programme since the very beginning.

MeccaBingo.com has just signed up as lead sponsor of the chat show, following on from its partnership with the programme and the success of its Loose Women Bingo online game

The popular Loose Women panellist thinks there’s one hot topic which is more popular with viewers than any other.

She said: “Anything you open up on personally always goes down well. Whether that’s about divorce or empty nest syndrome or relationship problems or the menopause. They are the ones I think we get the most interaction about.

“The fun topics which people love are the everyday topics. Whenever we talk about anything like that we have such a laugh and I think the public can relate to all of those things.

“At the moment everything is so depressing around the world. We like to touch on the heavy topic then move on to something a bit more light hearted. Just give people an hour off from all the doom and gloom really.”

Just like the show, Loose Women Bingo is a place where friends can have a natter. It has a dedicated chatroom and tickets for the 90-ball online game start from just 5p. Each ticket has 15 numbers and prizes for one line, two lines and a full house.

Despite her love of a good chat, Coleen admits that there are some topics which she avoids discussing. Some can even cause flashpoints with other panellists.

She said: “I think when it comes to political issues obviously I’ll have an opinion but I’m not up on politics. I find them all boring to be honest so I let Janet Street-Porter and all the proper journalists on there deal with that.”

Diet is another topic that’s off-limits for Coleen.

“In the last few years I’ve become plant based and the other panellists are all very much meat eaters so we have had quite a few hot discussions on that. Especially at Christmas time when they were all talking about how they were going to cook the turkey. I was traumatised!

“The thing that makes the programme is that there is no point in all four of us sitting there agreeing on every single topic. That’s a boring show.”

The camaraderie on the Loose Women set is matched in the Loose Women Bingo game online. It has a prize pot of up to £110,000 each month with a jackpot of £500 up for grabs in every game.

Players can enjoy the Bingo Bestie feature where they will be paired with another player to double their chances of winning.

The game can be played on the go which will be perfect for Coleen when her nationwide tour begins in February. Tickets for Coleen Nolan Naked - Music, Life & Laughter are available now at coleentour.com

The tour doesn’t mean Coleen has any plans to give up Loose Women. She has her fingers crossed for joining a big silver anniversary celebration and appearing in the show for many years to come.

She said: “You know what? I absolutely love the show. For as long as they want me I will be there. You look at someone like Gloria Hunniford who is in her eighties and she’s still there. Janet Street-Porter is in her seventies and she is still there.

“That’s what I love about the programme. There’s not many TV shows where you can carry on whatever age.”
