Skins star Kaya Scodelario and husband Ben Walker split after 8 years together
Skins icon Kaya Scodelario and her husband Ben Walker have split up after eight years together.
The couple tied the knot in December 2015 and went on to welcome two children together. Kaya, famed for playing Effy Stonem on Skins, started dating Ben during the filming of The King's Daughter in early 2014, with the two getting engaged at the end of the same year.
Both decided to adopt the joint surname Scodelario-Davis. Their first child, a son, was born in November 2016. Kaya's Skin's co-star Daniel Kaluuya is her son's godfather. At the end of December 2022, Kaya and Ben welcomed their second child - a daughter.
And now, the duo made the decision to go their separate ways. Announcing their split in a joint statement, they said: "Some time ago Kaya and Ben made the joint decision to end their marriage but continue to co-parent lovingly whilst remaining the best of friends.

In early 2022, Kaya took to social media to announce the birth of her second child. She posted a photo captured moments after she gave birth. "You made it here little one! Starting the new year with so much love in our hearts & in our home. Plus poop and puke, lots of that too," the brunette captioned the upload.
Kaya was seen cradling her newborn in the photo and her former partner, Benjamin, was seen smiling with his hand on his head whilst clad in scrubs. Their new addition could be seen wrapped up in a towel with a sweet aqua-coloured hat decorated with a pink flower pattern.
In September 2021, Kaya told fans that she was growing her family. Alongside a selfie, the Wuthering Heights star penned: "I tried to set up one of those beautiful pregnancy reveal pictures with the meadow and the golden sunset and the hay and the puppy’s and the perfectly put together BoHo outfit & flowing natural hair with baby chicks nesting in it but then I realised that IM WAY TOO tired, achey and lazy right now.
"So here’s me pulling an awkward face in the mirror whilst wearing makeup for the first time in 6 months instead. We are very happy obviously. But mostly super tired."
