For the first time in history, a member of the world's aristocracy posed for Playboy Magazine, leaving almost nothing to the imagination as she graced the cover of the infamous magazine.

The Princess of Saxony, became the first-ever person of royal lineage to not only pose for the magazine in racy photoshoots but to also appear on the front.

The German princess told the publication that she believes her ancestors, including her great-great-great-grandfather, Frederick Augustus III, the last king of Saxony, "would have definitely approved" of the move, especially considering her motive behind it. She told the German version of the publication she wanted to show the world that "every woman is beautiful the way she is."

The 37-year-old told the magazine: "You don't have to conform to trends or have surgery on your body just to please someone. I have stretch marks, and I'm proud to show them."

She added that fighting prejudices has been something she's dealt with for years given her lineage but also her body, which she believes is perfect the way it is. Currently starring in B:Real — Real Celebrities, Real Life, the star has previously appeared in Undercover Princesses, and she said she's received many "horrible" comments over the years urging her to get plastic surgery, to make herself more curvaceous and therefore more womanly.

The Playboy pictures show Princess Xenia wearing nothing but a white sheet over her body, covering only half of it while leaving the rest bare. Other photos show her wearing just a sheer skirt or a flimsy bodysuit. She is on the cover of the magazine's March 2024 edition.

For Princess Xenia, however, she feels happy with herself as long as she's healthy, and she feels that she is. "I like my body best when it works and I'm pain-free," she told Playboy. "I've never determined how well I like myself based on my appearance."

She added that her great-great-great-grandfather would have approved and said, as a "very humorous and loving" individual, he would have loved it.

Princess Xenia previously wrote an autobiography, which translated is titled "Xenia: The Life of a Princess in the 21st Century." That book was disputed, as were her claims of noble lineage, by Maria Emanuel, Margrave of Meissen, back in 2012, who told The Independent: "She is a nothing, she can't have a biography. This thing is a dreadful faux pas, a misfortune for the 1,000-year-old House of Wettin!"
