Man walks through airport completely naked before trying to open restricted door

A man was arrested after he was pictured walking around an airport fully naked before trying to get through security.

Staff and passengers at Terminal 1 in Florida’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) were stunned to see the nude man, who was allegedly drunk, making his way through the crowds.

Martin Evtimov, 36, entered the terminal after parking his car on the sidewalk outside the airport and walked into the building, with his nude body on full display, the Broward County Sheriff’s Department said.

Evtimov can be seen nonchalantly walking through the check-in lanes of Terminal 1 as passengers swerve out of the naked man’s path on footage shot inside the airport.

Eventually the man found his way to the TSA security line where he walked past several TSA agents while reportedly incoherently talking. Evtimov avoided the screening area and tried to open a door marked “Restricted Access”, eventually making his way over to the baggage inspection line.

There he was met by sheriff deputies and more TSA agents who attempted to subdue him.

At this point Evtimov allegedly began resisting arrest but he was taken into custody.

Video obtained by Local10 shows Evtimov being bent over the baggage conveyor belt as at least two Broward County Sheriff’s deputies restrain him.

Court documents shows he was handed a slew of charges relating to his stroll through the airport including resisting arrest with violence, battery on law enforcement (two times) and exposure of sexual organs.

He was also charged with misdemeanour disorderly conduct and disorderly intoxication and was booked into Broward County Jail on a $3,500 bond. He was also banned from returning to FLL.

“I’m giving no return to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport,” a judge told Evtimov during his court appearance Tuesday morning.

As well as being banned from the airport he was told not to ingest alcohol or other drugs and ordered to undergo a mental health screening.

The bizarre footage sparked a slew of humorous takes online. “Is this considered suspicious behavior?” X account OnlyinDade caption alongside the bizarre video.
