Princess Andre details Katie Price and dad Peter's polarising parenting styles
Princess Andre has opened up about her famous mum and dad's parenting skills - and has highlighted how different they are.
The teenage influencer is the youngest child of Katie Price, 45, and Peter, 50, and the former couple also share son Junior, 18. Katie and Peter enjoyed a whirlwind romance and marriage from 2005, but ended their relationship in 2009. While Katie is also a proud mum to Harvey, 21, Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, Peter is a proud dad to Amelia, 9, and son Theo, 7.
Peter, who shares his youngest kids with wife Emily, is also preparing to welcome his third child with the NHS doctor. Ahead of the arrival of her new baby brother or sister, Princess has opened up about her dad's parenting skills - admitting that he and Katie do things very differently when it comes to raising children.
Speaking to Heat Magazine, Princess opened up about the best piece of advice her mum and dad have given her. The teen said: "They're both very supportive in different ways. The main thing they've encouraged me to do is be the best person I can be, keep my head up high, and go for what I want."
Sharing what she has learned from her famous parents, Princess added: "I've learned a lot from them both in the industry, and it's been a massive help. Dad has always given me great advice. Although he can be strict sometimes, as I've grown older, I understand now that he's giving me the best advice to become the best person I can be."
Katie Price and Danielle Lloyd 'bury the hatchet' after documentary feudWhen it comes to Katie and Peter worrying about Princess stepping into the showbiz world, Princess admitted that her mum is much more relaxed about the situation, while Peter can get a bit "stressed" at times.
It comes after Princess shared her plans to follow in her famous parents footsteps as she set her sights on a stint on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! The teenage daughter of Katie and Peter has watched back the clips of her parents falling in love with one another on the ITV show - before their bitter split came - and is hoping that she may one day get the chance to experience the Australian jungle alongside her older brother, Junior, 18.
The PrettyLittleThing ambassador admitted it would be "amazing" to appear on the show where her parents met almost 20 years ago. Given that she and Junior were the first child born out of the show after Katie and Peter fell head over heels for one another, Princess admitted that it would be a career highlight and a dream come true to appear on the show.
"It would be really crazy if me and Junior went on I'm A Celeb together because we were the first kids born out of the show. Going on there would be amazing," she told. I think even though I'd be scared, I'd be able to push through it." Princess also said she thinks she would get further in the competition than her brother, but that his support would be her driving force. Princess is tipped to become a millionaire by the time she is 18 after reportedly signed a four-figure deal with fashion brand PrettyLittleThing.
