Easter is the perfect time to indulge in chocolate without guilt, and Lindt have announced they are upping their choccie game in time for the big day.
There are so many tempting treats on offer, and for many households, the Lindt Gold Bunny is a firm favourite thanks to the decadent, creamy chocolate and the adorable bunny wrapper with a red bell around its neck.
But Lindt have announced that this year, there's a new bunny on the block, as they're launching it in the form of a chocolate block - but they've promised it'll be made with the same delicious recipe.
Lindt Master Chocolatier, Thomas Schnetzler, shared his delight with the Daily Star about the new addition set to hit shelves. He said: "This wonderfully convenient new format of a familiar and loved Easter favourite is simply perfect whether you're sharing with family and friends or savouring a moment of indulgence for yourself.
"Since 1952, the Lindt Gold Bunny has been synonymous with premium quality, expertly crafted chocolate, and the sheer delight of making people happy at Easter.

Experience the same premium, velvet, full cream milk flavours with notes of honey, malt and caramel but in a brand-new format, perfect for creating unforgettable moments."
The Gold Bunny Block has landed on shelves of major retailers in Australia including Coles, Big W, Kmart, Target and David Jones. Here in the UK, it seems to be up for grabs online from food stores such as Sainsbury's and Ocado. It can be purchased for £3 from Ocado for 120g of chocolate. The Lindt Gold Bunny is still available in its original format, however, for 100g of chocolate it'll cost £3.75.
The popular Lindt Gold Bunny was first created in 1952, and instantly became a much-loved chocolatey hit. The brand now flogs more than 210 million bunnies across the world every Easter. Inspired by his daughter, a Lindt Master Chocolatier created a bunny out of the finest Swiss chocolate. He lovingly wrapped it in gold foil to make it shine and tied it with a red ribbon bow and a little bell so it would never get lost, and people are still enjoying them to this day.
