Luxury beauty brand Shiseido has released a skincare-active primer which claims to deliver an instant glow and hydration.

The £39 product is specially formulated to smooth and brighten skin for better makeup application, wear and finish, plus it's suitable for all skin types. Best of all? It promises to deliver results quickly, so you can expect a flawless complexion every time you use it.

Shiseido's Revitalessence Skin Glow Primer is perfect for those want their makeup to last longer. It has been tested on more than 100 women, and many claimed to see results in just one week - according to research online.

Shiseido is known for offering premium skincare treatments and cosmetics, which are loved by a number of A-lister celebrities.

The brand's Revitalessence Skin Glow Primer uses ingredients that illuminate whilst strengthening the skin's barrier to lock in moisture - not to mention it's non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog your pores.

It contains fermented kefir and niacinamide to leave skin visibly more even-toned, hydrated and smooth. You can buy the primer for £39, here.

Shiseido also has an "amazing" anti-ageing face serum, and many beauty fans claim it made them "look younger".

The award-winning product is specially formulated to tackle signs of ageing, dullness and tiredness for a revitalised, glowing appearance. It's clearly one of the brand's best formulas too, selling one every 8.6 seconds.

More than 3,000 reviewers were left impressed after trying the serum. Giving it five-stars, one said: "I have been using this serum for a few years. I just love it, I put one pump on my face each morning, and I can definitely see a difference in the texture of my skin. It looks refined plumper and better colour."

A second said: "Love it! I am 57-years-old, travel around the world, and like to try skincare products that are manufactured in the country that I'm visiting. I noticed that the condition of my skin had degraded dramatically over the past year, so I came back to Power Infusing Serum to heal and correct it.

"As always, this serum works miraculously and my skin has regained its youthful appearance. Thank you, Shiseido!"

And a third wrote: "It's my third time buying it. Always soothing my skin especially during sensitive time. Love it."

But while most reviews on Sheiseido's website are positive, some were left by disappointed reviewers. "Nicely hydrating, but have not noticed any significant changes," said one shopper.

Someone else wasn't impressed with the price tag, adding: "These serums are a dime a dozen these days, and this just seems overpriced to me."

You can buy the Serum Power Infusing Concentrate from £35 for a 15ml bottle at sheseido.co.uk.
