Apple’s spaced-aged Vision Pro glasses launched in the US last week with owners on that side of the pond now being treated to a whole new way of viewing and interacting with popular content and their favourite apps. It’s a product that’s creating huge amounts of hype as it’s like nothing Apple has ever released before.

It’s also far more impressive than most standard VR headsets as it can mix the real and and virtual worlds together. That means you don’t have to remove it to see what’s going on around you. There's also the ability to have applications such as email, Safari browser and the Apple TV player floating all around the room you're sitting in.

Apple is calling the Vision Pro a Spatial Computer and having tried it, Mirror Online can reveal that it definitely feels like the future. You don't even need additional accessories with eye and hand tracking offering a seamless way to interact.

If the thought of going virtual has got you excited there’s good and bad news about buying one. Apple hasn’t confirmed an official release date in the UK and there’s also no word on the price we’ll have to pay in Britain.

Although you can’t walk into any Apple Store and buy the Vision Pro just yet, it seems some are trying to cash in by selling models on auction sites such as eBay.

That does mean it’s now possible to get one in the UK but doing so definitely comes with some warnings.

Firstly, these hotly-anticipated gadgets are selling for well over the standard asking price. We expect Vision Pro to cost around £3,000 when it arrives later this year. On eBay, some sellers are asking for around £9,000! That’s three times as much.

Not buying directly from Apple also has its risks as there's no guarantee it will be covered by a warranty. If you buy it and it doesn’t work you’ll have no way of getting help as UK stores aren’t offering support right now.

Our advice, don’t buy from eBay even if the thought of being one of the first to use it does sound hugely enticing.

Some Apple experts think Vision Pro could be here as soon as the summer so there might not be long left to wait before your local shop will stock it.
