Aaron Ramsdale furiously shouts at Liverpool ref and accuses him of time wasting
Aaron Ramsdale was none too pleased by a delay caused by referee Anthony Taylor in Arsenal's match against Liverpool, with the keeper appearing to accuse the official of time wasting.
Taylor walked over to the touchline in the first half of the Premier League clash, seemingly to fix a fault with the system which allows him to communicate with his fellow officials. Ramsdale, on Arsenal's bench, could be seen shouting and gesticulating in the background as the ref took longer and longer to get things fixed.
After attempting to attract Taylor's attention, Ramsdale then made a gesture of pointing at his watch. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could also be seen exchanging words with Taylor before the ref eventually returned to the field of play.
Frustratingly for Arsenal, first-half stoppage time was when they conceded to their opponents. Bukayo Saka had put the Gunners ahead inside 15 minutes, only for a Gabriel own goal to level things up moments before the break.
There was a mixed response to Ramsdale's antics on social media. "Shouting at the ref for being too slow while Ben White literally got booked for time wasting 2 minutes prior," one person wrote.
Mikel Arteta's dream Arsenal line up as last-gasp January transfers are secured"He needed a piece of tech replaced. What's he supposed to do? Save this reaction for when he ACTUALLY makes an error worth chirping about" was the verdict from another.
There were others who took the keeper's side, though. "He is me," wrote one, while another said "Rambo is all of us right now".

Arsenal scored first in the reverse fixture between the two sides, only for Liverpool to claim a point after equalising before half-time. It was a similar story on Sunday, with Saka converting after Kai Havertz saw a shot saved by Alisson, only for the own goal to level things up.
It didn't end 1-1 this time, though. Gabriel Martinelli put Arsenal back in front in the second half, with Leandro Trossard - a late replacement for the Brazilian - adding a third at the death.
"It feels like a normal game," Arsenal keeper David Raya - who remains the Gunners' first choice ahead of Ramsdale, said before kick-off. "It is another game in the Premier League and the stakes are three points.
"We have to win every game and we have prepared the same way. I know it is Liverpool in front of us, but the main thing is to get the three points at the end of the day."
