Tattoo fanatic has 70% of his body inked - and is known as the 'real life Devil'

Dating back to 3370 BC, tattoos are a significant part of human history, with people around the world treating themselves to artwork centred around their cultural heritage or favourite football team. But one man has taken things up a level, getting a whopping 70% of his body covered in ink.

The man in question, known as the 'real life Devil', can't get enough work done, having spent a huge £50,000 on his transformation into an orc. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Renie Diaz quickly gravitated towards tattoos early, getting his first done at the age of just 13, which he subsequently kept hidden from his parents.

And while they eventually found out and hit the roof, with his father so disgusted he felt the need to move to another city, their reaction certainly didn't deter the wild man, who's gone on to make various modifications to his body, including transdermal implants, silicone ball implants and eye tattoos.

The Brazilian eventually found love and had a son, vowing to settle down from his boisterous ways. Once his marriage fell apart, he pushed the boundaries even further. While sci-fi fans love nothing more than turning up to a Comic Con event dressed as Luke Skywalker or The Hulk, the fantasy usually only lasts for a weekend, with most returning to work on Monday morning as the same person they were on the Friday. But in a tribute to the Lord of the Rings, Renie has chopped off the top of his ears and painted his eyes black to look like an orc. And in a decision that would leave most men squirming in their seats, the 39-year-old intends to place eight silicone balls on his genitals.

As per Drum World, Renie said: "I got some tattoos in secret one day, I put a stud in my ears and a piercing in my nose and dyed my hair red, and my father didn't like it and asked me to remove them while in his house, but I went out and did it anyway. Then I got a few more tattoos and got a few more piercings, but we made up and despite it all, I didn't leave my taste behind, I continued getting tattoos and some modifications, but kind of hidden so as not to fight as a family."

He continued: "Then I got married and took a break from tattooing, piercings and modifications. I had a son who is now 13 years old, and during that period, I removed my nipples. The marriage went down the drain, and I went back to doing what I like with more tattoos and more modifications. Then I put a lightning implant in my left hand and started doing body suspension, and during that period, several tattoo conventions called me to do some suspensions at their events, and we went to Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Paraguay and others here in Brazil, so I removed my face piercings and put them in."

Renie's relationship with his father has collapsed, possibly past the point of return. He explained: "When I got three ball implants in my forehead my father wasn't very happy, we fought a lot, but he didn't send me away. I got a few more tattoos and put four ball implants in my right arm; I painted my tongue and got a few more tattoos and suspension events and put them in."

"After that, I got my dermal trans that I can screw different types of horns onto my head and then I cut out my tongue, and then my father closed the market I worked in and went to live in another city. After that, I started tattooing my face and cut off my ears at the top to look like an orc, and then I painted one eye black.

"I like the orc ears. I think these ears are really crazy, and I wanted to make them look like a different orc; an alien orc. Then I placed four more implant bars on my left arm, got more tattoos, and then painted the other eye black. I also got ear plugs, which are already 64mm, and my nose plug, the septum, which is 13mm, and my lip plug is 3mm.

"About my son, he will make his choices without my interference and if he wants to get a tattoo, I support him. but I don't think he's interested in tattoos - he likes to play football and skateboard, his dream at the moment is to be a football player."

Despite mutilating his body to an extent most would never even think of, Renie isn't done, with even wackier plans in the pipeline. He claimed: "I want to and have always wanted to place eight silicone balls on my genitals, as well as two small bars on my face, close to my cheek, one on each side", said Renie.

"I also want to increase my ear plugs up to 100mm, put four plugs in my mouth and two more on my nose, or tear off the tip of my nose. I think that's about it for now; these are my plans."
