The parents of an OnlyFans model who is currently awaiting trial after being accused of being accused of urdering her boyfriend by stabbing him have themselves been arrested, in a major update today.

Kim and Deborah Clenney, the parents of Courtney Clenney, are now behind bars and awaiting extradition to South Florida, where they'll have to face charges. Kim Dewayne Clenney, 60, and Deborah Lyn Clenney, 57, were arrested two days ago on felony charges of "unauthorised access to a computer or electronic device," according to warrants obtained by NBC 6.

Courtney Clenney, the daughter, was accused of stabbing her boyfriend Christian Obumseli to death in 2022, and finally arrested months later at a rehab facility in Hawaii and charged.

The 26-year-old OnlyFans insisted she stabbed her boyfriend, Obumseli, 27, in self-defence after an increasingly abusive relationship.

Clenney was caught in Hawaii and extradited to South Florida, where she has been at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond since August 2022.

Clenney was charged with second-degree murder with a weapon in connection to Obumseli’s death. She denies the charge.

Now, her parents are accused of tampering with evidence. Additionally, Courtney is now facing a new charge of unauthorised computer access, according to Miami-Dade jail records.

It seems that many of Obumseli's belongings were taken from his condo after his death. The authorities investigating his death wanted to look at Courtney Clenney's phone and iCloud account, as well as her parents' iCloud accounts, the warrants revealed.

They got search warrants for these accounts, and Apple helped out, giving investigators access to messages, including a group chat between Courtney Clenney's lawyers and her parents.

In this chat, they talked about Obumseli's laptop and how to get into it, even mentioning trying to guess the passwords. "Are there any PIN/passwords we can try before you see her tomorrow?" Kim Clenney asked in one message, showing the warrants.

He later figured out the PIN was a number, not letters, and the next day, he wrote, "Hell yeah! That PIN worked!" according to the warrants.

One of the lawyers was discovered writing: "Kim. Hold off on going through the computer please. I don't want to turn you into a witness just yet if you find something useful." They also talked about possibly shipping the laptop, the warrants revealed.

The lawyer also said, in a message, "When it comes to potential evidence, we always have to consider 'chain of custody' issues and don't necessarily want to take the risk that something gets 'lost' in the mail."

Another lawyer added: "Also, as I'm sure you guessed by me [SIC] prior text, we don't want you accessing files because the State Attorneys could request their own independent analysis of the hard drive and accuse you of creating or modifying files," in another message.

"That's why I want to put a quick pause on that. Obviously I know you would not do that but we want to maintain that credibility."

"I had barely opened it and was starting to poke around, but we started a video call so I stopped," Kim Clenney messaged back, according to the warrant. "Never opened a file, so I didn't see anything."

Later, Kim Clenney messaged: "I'd also like for you to have the laptop soon, so you can see if there's anything of use to us on it," the records indicated.

Finally, the laptop was handed over to the defence lawyers, but meddling with someone's computer without their permission is against Florida law.
