Baroness Karren Brady might have been on The Apprentice for a decade, but away from screens, her life is much busier.

The businesswoman, who first appeared on the programme in 2009, has cemented herself as one of the biggest names in business across the country. But when she's not appearing on the BBC programme, the 54-year-old can often be found working late into the night across her multiple ventures.

Often dubbed "The First Lady of Football", Karren became the managing director of Birmingham City in 1993 at the age of just 23 and helped turn the club's fortunes around on and off the pitch. In 2010 she was appointed vice-chairman of West Ham United by chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan and was responsible for for negotiating their move from Upton Park to the Olympic Stadium.

While Baroness Brady may have turned Birmingham City around, the club also played a huge part in her life as she met her husband, Canadian striker Paul Peschisolido - whom she married in 1995 - through the club. Just one year after the golden couple said "I do", the businesswoman went on to welcome their first child, Sophia, in 1996.

But ever keen to keep going with work, Karren returned to work just three days later. However, Karren later admitted that she "regrets deeply" her decision to return to work so suddenly and later changed her view on things. In 1998 following the birth of her son Paolo, she took six weeks off work before getting back into her routine.

Sophia is a model and social media influencer having worked with brands such as Boux Avenue, PrettyLittleThing and Topshop. But prior to her online career, Sophia studied film and television at university and has since ruled out any reality shows. It emerged that she's keen to steer away from the reality lifestyle and has even turned down offers from Love Island.

Her brother Paolo has also made it clear he's keen to stay away from the showbiz circuit. His LinkedIn profile sees him titled as Rt. Hon. (Right Honourable), where he boasts that he's a "dynamic and driven professional" and the "proud director" of a tax consultancy business aged just 24.

But Karren previously opened up about her two children and revealed they refused to take the coronavirus vaccination, despite her desperate pleas. She said: "They believe under-30s will have blood clots if they take AstraZeneca or heart problems if they have the Pfizer, problems with fertility, periods and almost everything else they have read that might happen to 0.000001 per cent of people who have the vaccine."

In 2014, Karren became a Conservative life peer in the House of Lords and was later created Baroness Brady of Knightsbridge. But she has previously ruled out running as an MP, telling the Mirror that she can do more from the sidelines. According to Spears, Karren has a current estimated net worth of around £85million.

Viewers will know that Baroness Brady is no stranger when it comes to saying what is on her mind and one person who found that out was Prince Harry. The Duke of Sussex who stepped down as a senior working royal in 2020 has "lost the plot" according to Brady. Karren claims that the son of King Charles has become "so wrapped up" in the Los Angeles experience he can no longer see the bigger picture.

According to Karren, Harry has become "so blinkered" that he's now even blaming his heartache and pain on the Queen and Prince Philip's parenting and passing on their "genetic pain" through their son Charles to him and his brother Prince William. Writing in her newspaper column, she said we "know too much" about Harry and Meghan Markle's many grievances with the royals thanks to their recent interviews that have made global headlines - despite quitting the UK to pursue a private life out of the spotlight.

Businessman Duncan Bannatyne also once found himself in the firing line from Baroness Brady. Writing in her column for The Sun, she said: "For a seriously clever entrepreneur, Duncan Bannatyne is acting like a silly old fool. At 66 he has taken up with his second mid-30s partner this year and flaunts it by posting a hilariously repulsive picture, of him snogging this young lady... the truth is he's a deluded prune. The girls are laughing behind his back, fingering for his thick wallet." He later snapped back branding Karren a "complete coward". He later slammed her for being "too bitter and dishonest".
