Whether you're a beans and cheese stan or stay true to the classic, Heinz' announcement is sure to pique your interest.

After customers begged for its return, the stalwart is bringing back one of its cult-favourite flavours which is sure to spice things up.

After a successful trial run last year as limited editions to mark National Curry Week, Heinz has shared that the tasty Tikka flavour will be making a much-anticipated return.

The collection also includes delights such as Heinz Beanz Burgerz, and Heinz Beanz Bowlz which are sure to add some delightful variety to your beany meals.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, people were hyping up the unusual flavours past and present, saying they really enjoyed them. One wrote: "The new Heinz Beanz flavours are amazing. I bought at least one tin of curry, tikka, jalfrezi, vindaloo, chilli, peri-peri, taco, and caramelised onion. So far they're all excellent." "Vindaloo beans? Risky", another joked.

But, more importantly, are you eating beans on toast correctly? According to Heinz, probably not. According to YouGov, beans on toast is one of the most popular dishes in the UK, with all families having their unique way of preparing it. But etiquette expert William Hanson, alongside Heinz, has shared that you've probably been making beans on toast all wrong, and they've shared the correct way to make the dish - and store it.

In a TikTok video, William said he was going to teach people how to eat beans on toast in a "quintessentially British manner." He said: "When having beans on toast, don't drown your toast with beans, this is not your local lido. A good butter, unsalted of course because we're not heathens, will ensure it keeps its crisp crunch."

Heinz even commented on the video, writing: "There are two types of people in the world. Those who add butter to their beans on toast and those who don't."

The original version of this story incorrectly reported that the Heinz Jalfrezi and Vindaloo flavours would be returning. We amended it to reflect the Tikka flavour is the only limited edition flavour returning.
