Vernon Kay's daughter Phoebe stole the show as she joined her dad on the red carpet for the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star 2024 party

The 49-year-old presenter and wife Tess Daly tied the knot in 2003 and share two children - Phoebe Elizabeth Kay, 19, and Amber Isabella Kay, 15. The BBC Radio 2 star looked like a proud father as he posed with the gorgeous Phoebe on the red carpet before entering the venue.

Phoebe oozed glamour in a shiny silver dress with a thigh split along with white heels and a plain black purse. She completed the look with a few bracelets and a sparkling pair of earrings. Her makeup was flawlessly done and her blonde hair was straightened and flowed down her shoulders.

Vernon was happy to have the cameras focus on her as he stood protectively beside her in a navy velvet blazer, black trousers and trainers. The duo looked effortlessly cool as they smiled for the numerous cameras.

The glitzy event was held in Pavyllon London at the Four Seasons Hotel in London. Other stars at the party included Paloma Faith, Big Zuu, Alex Jones, Frankie Bridge, Clara Amfo and more. Vernon's father-daughter night out comes after Tess opened up about Vernon's parenting style.

In December, she said he is the strictest one in the family when it comes to parenting. Tess spoke to OK! Magazine about what goes on in their Buckinghamshire mansion and says Vernon is a brilliant dad. In 2020, he gave fans a glimpse into the special relationship he shares with them both on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and his wife says they're a top team and the family dynamic just works.

“As a mum, I just want to be as present as I can be. I pride myself on that,” she told OK! “Teenagers don’t always want to talk to you, but even if you’re just physically there in the room with them… I’ll plonk myself there quietly in the corner. You’ve got two little people who have become young adults. It’s amazing and constantly rewarding. I love being a mum – it’s my most important job."

She went on: “Vernon is a great dad – he loves them to bits. I don’t know if there’s a good cop, or bad cop, but maybe he’s a little stricter sometimes. But it’s for the greater good and we’re a good team. I’m proud of how down-to-earth they are. That’s what you want – kids who are kind and who have a good work ethic and respect people. You just try to mould good humans.”
