Here's everything you need to know about crossplay in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (Image: Warner Bros.)

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has a heavy multiplayer focus, so naturally players are wondering if it's going to have crossplay enabled across Xbox Series X, PS5, and PC.

Rocksteady Studios' first game since 2015's Batman: Arkham Knight is finally upon us, with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League arriving on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC this Friday, February 2 (at least for Steam, as the Epic Games Store isn't getting the game until March 5, 2024). However, if you own the Deluxe Edition you're able to play the game during an early access period right now.

The game focuses on the titular squad, as they – you guessed it – aim to kill the Justice League, whose minds have been taken over by Braniac (because you can't be real bad guys, obviously). It's built around four-player co-op with players assuming the role of either Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, King Shark, and Harley Quinn. The game ditches the more careful story-focused approach of the previous Arkham games to instead tackle the live-service genre, with the game set to receive post-launch updates – with the first bringing in The Joker as a playable character

While it would be a given to assume Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has crossplay since it's an online focused title, considering another online heavy Warner Bros. Games title – Mortal Kombat 1 – is missing the feature, it's no surprise that some players are unsure.

Is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League crossplay on Xbox Series X, PS5, and PC?

The good news is yes, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is crossplay enabled on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC according to a FAQ on the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League website. Once you open up the game, you'll be prompted to enter or create a Warner Bros account, and this is how the crossplay is handled.

Not only does Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League feature crossplay, but if somehow you've ended up with two separate copies of the game on different platforms you'll be glad to know that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League also has cross progression enabled, so you'll be able to bring your characters over to different platforms.
