As January finally draws to a close, now could be the perfect time to bag a cheeky last-minute winter sun deal.

With travel companies looking to fill flights and empty rooms ahead of the Easter holiday price hike, seven nights on a beach in Spain, Portugal, Turkey or Malta could cost you less than your weekly shop back here in Blighty. Our favourite holiday companies including Jet2, On The Beach, Love Holidays and more have some banging bargains departing in February, with prices starting from as little as £161 per person.

From the beaches of the Costa Blanca to the Playas of Portugal, here are some of the best value last-minute winter sun breaks you can book today.

The second month of the year brings chilly weather and rainy days to the UK, but over in Europe temperatures will be on the rise. While most of our favourite holiday hotspots won't be anywhere near as hot as during the summer, you could still spend your days relaxing in temperatures over 20 degrees in the sun.

Holidaymakers will be able to warm up for less with up to £50 per person off holidays to the sun in the Jet2 winter promotions, and customers who sign up for a Myjet account could also save as much as £220 on their next holiday.

Jet2 are also offering £60 off selected holidays to celebrate payday by simply using the code 'PAYDAY60' at checkout.

Departing from 11 airports across the UK, Jet2 holiday prices usually include a 22kg baggage allowance, 10kg hand luggage and transfers.
