Footballer Kyle Walker is a liar and a cheat, with no respect for women. There ­cannot be a single person in the country who would argue with that assessment. And yet, two of the many females he’s treated absolutely appallingly are ­furious. With each other.

Walker’s wife, Annie Kilner, who is pregnant with their fourth child, has been publicly feuding for five years now with his lover, and mother of two of his children, Lauryn Goodman. He was in differing levels of ­relationship with both of them at the same time, apparently, as well as a rumoured third woman who hasn’t yet come forward but, hey, the day is young.

Annie’s called Lauryn, “a homewrecker”, adding, “She trapped a man with a family for money and fame. She’s rotten, disgusting.” Lauryn’s called Annie, “cruel and nasty… You hear the phrase ‘Wicked Stepmother’ in fairy-tales but you don’t think this will happen in real life.” Both of their sisters have also spoken up on their behalves, posting videos and messages on social media, most recently Annie’s sister Sian, accusing Lauryn of “tormenting” Annie, adding, “this level of evil is out of control.”
