Dancing On Ice star Hannah Spearritt has said disaster struck just hours before her show exit.

S Club star Hannah appeared on the ITV skating show for two weeks before she was booted out after coming last on the leader board. There was no skate off last week, and Claire Sweeney made it through, leaving Hannah to exit the show.

Speaking on This Morning today, she said: "I'm glad I'm out of it in one piece, do you know what I mean? I can watch it next Sunday on the couch. It was amazing to learn that skill. Yes it is completely dangerous. Anything can go wrong. I had something go wrong three hours before. It wasn't anything major but it just reminds you anything can go wrong at any time. It's just a lot to think about with every move, to make sure it goes right."

Talking about her professional skating partner, she revealed: "Andy was fantastic. Obviously he's done it for years. He was definitely the right partner for me. He was just amazing." Andy was also very supportive of Hannah amid her autoimmune condition. Whilst she admits it affected her on the show at first, she feels she had really grown into herself in the past two weeks.

"It had a massive impact at the start, especially. I felt like I've only really come into my own in the last couple of weeks. I've been solid and feeling good every day. There was a lot of ups and downs but the last two weeks have been solid. I feel like I was about to get going, but I'm grateful to be able to exercise every day," she explained.

Hannah previously described her experience on the show as "amazing" and heaped praise on Andy. She said: "The experience has been absolutely amazing. And obviously being partnered with you has been so incredible. You've been the best teacher and you've pushed me out of my comfort zone when you've needed to. I'm so grateful to have learned this skill. Never in a million years would I of had a chance be be taught. I think skating for me is something that you do need to be taught."

Andy added: "This is the hardest show on television and I'm just so proud of you. Every week for you, you overcame so much. You should be really proud of yourself," whilst Hannah shared: "Obviously I'm disappointed but the level was so, so, high and I'm just excited to see the journey that everyone else is going to go on now. It's been such an amazing team. I'm going to miss it."
