Anton Du Beke has revealed that he recently underwent a hair transplant, with him having teased that "gorgeous and youthful" Bobby Brazier had been an inspiration to him.

The professional dancer, 57 - best known for being on Strictly Come Dancing - spoke about the procedure whilst a guest on ITV's Loose Women this afternoon. He appeared on the panel earlier to discuss the long-running BBC show's live tour.

At one point, Anton referenced having "new hair," which was noticed by Ruth Langsford, 63 - whom he had been partnered with on Strictly in 2017. She subsequently asked the guest: "Sorry, sorry, did you just say 'my new hair'? What?"

Anton went on to discuss the situation. He told Ruth and her co-stars that he had been to Hair Restoration Blackrock (HRBR) in Ireland, which is understood to specialise in hair loss treatment and hair transplants, for a procedure.

Moving his head around to showcase his hair, he said whilst on the panel: "D'you like it? Have a look." Anton continued in the ITV show's studio: "I went over to Dublin to see Dr Maurice Collins at HRBR and he did it for me."

Ruth's colleague Linda Robson, 65, reacted to his comments. She asked him: "What? Ain't that your hair?" It prompted guest Anton to discuss the procedure that he had done at the clinic, with him saying that it is his own hair.

Following the question from panelist Linda, Anton said: "It's all mine, I just had it shifted about. They take it off the back and we replanted it down the front." He further commented in the episode: "[Dr Maurice's] an absolute genius."

The guest then teased that he wanted to be like actor Bobby Brazier, 20, who was a finalist on Strictly last year. Anton said: "D'you know what it is? I want to be like Bobby. I see Bobby wafting in the air being gorgeous and youthful."

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV and ITVX from 12.30pm. You can catch up on previous episodes of the panel show through the streaming platform ITVX now.
