Footage has captured the shocking moment a violent brawl breaks out on the Tube which involved men hurling kicks and punches in front of horrified passengers.

The disturbing video shows at least three men attack another on a train pulled in at Old Street station. Another man appears to be trying to fight off his attackers before getting up and retaliating with more violence.

Screams can be heard from fellow passengers and onlookers in the clip, which is currently circulating on X, formerly Twitter, and has been viewed more than 7million times. British Transport Police has since confirmed it is investigating the horrific incident.

The fight broke out on Saturday night with the incident later reported to police on Sunday. Footage show one man lurch forward from the carriage and onto the platform where his attackers are standing before they kick him on the ground. One man can be seen grabbing his shirt, pulling his jacket away and hurling another punch.

The same man then jumps onto the train and almost engages in another fist fight with the man on the other end of the fight. Meanwhile horrified witnesses are heard screaming expletives before another unseen person shouts, "it's not worth it". Eventually the brawl is diffused as the attackers on the platform are pushed away.
