Kyle Walker says he 'nearly fainted' after learning about Lauryn Goodman's second pregnancy

Kyle Walker says he went into "survival mode" upon discovering he was expecting a second child with mistress Lauryn Goodman.

The Manchester City player, 33, has finally publicly admitted he is the father of Lauryn's youngest child, almost six months on from the Instagram model giving birth to a daughter in August.

Kyle, whose estranged wife Annie Kilner pregnant with their fourth child together, recalls almost fainting when Lauryn called him in October 2022 to let him know she was pregnant with his child once again.

Lauryn, 32, gave birth to the sports star's son Kairo Walker in April 2020, while the soon-to-be dad-of-six was married to childhood sweetheart Annie. Pregnant Annie, who announced her split from Kyle earlier this month, labelled her husband's betrayal as "obscene" at the time but stuck by her man.

Model Lauryn then went on to welcome her five-month-old daughter into the world in August last year, but opted not to publicly disclose the identity of the father or her second child's name, other than hinting her baby's initials are K.W. Following weeks of speculation, Kyle has now confirmed he is Lauryn's only baby daddy and father to both of her young children.

Speaking in a new interview, Kyle apologises to "soulmate and best friend" Annie and insists on taking "full responsibility" for betraying his wife's trust and loyalty over recent years. The England international, who captained his country for the first time last year, also reveals how he discovered he was expecting another love child with Lauryn in 2022.

Kyle and Lauryn conceived their second child together in early October 2022, thanks to the Champions League winner travelling down to London for groin surgery and reaching out to the Instagram model. Recalling how Lauryn broke the news that she was pregnant a few weeks later, Kyle says: "Lauryn told me at the end of October, early November. I remember going upstairs at the training ground when I got a phone call from her.

"I was with the physio at the time. I nearly fainted. I was just white. He said to me, 'What’s the matter?', and I wouldn’t tell him because I needed to process it myself. I asked if we could scrap the session and he just said, 'Fine'. I went into survival mode. I was like, 'What can I do now every day to make sure that I go home to Annie and the boys?'."

Kyle continues to tell The Sun that playing football was his release from his personal problems at the timing - recalling how match days allowed him to spend a couple of hours on the pitch not having to look at his phone or "listen to demands from a certain someone."

He goes on to claim he kept the news he fathered a second child with Lauryn under wraps for so long because he tries "to be a private person" and states that he takes full ownership of the decisions he has made that have hurt other people - adding that he won't blame "anything or anyone else in this situation."

Annie, who is currently pregnant with her fourth child, announced her split from Kyle on 10th January. In a statement shared with her Instagram followers, the WAG wrote: "I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight. Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together; I have decided to take some time away from Kyle.

The expectant mother, who first met Kyle in their hometown of Sheffield when she was 15 and he 17, concluded her online statement with: "I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time."

Kyle responded on his own Instagram Stories two days later, telling his followers: "Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I've caused her. She's been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children. I would ask for privacy for all of our family, and especially our young children, whilst we work through these difficult times."
