Joe Burrow has criticised the NFL rules on taunting after a controversial decision in the AFC Championship game between Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.

Ravens rookie Zay Flowers was penalised for taunting, a decision that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Burrow disagreed with. He expressed his views on Twitter, saying: "Let the guys taunt".

The penalty against Flowers was a significant setback for the Ravens, pushing them back 15 yards and away from the endzone. This was followed by another mistake from Flowers, who lost control of the ball while trying to score a touchdown.

Chiefs safety L'Jarius Sneed managed to knock the ball out before it dropped out of the endzone, leading to a touchback and turnover. Shortly after, Flowers hurt his hand by hitting his own helmet in frustration.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson then led an impressive drive for the team, but threw an interception into triple coverage, ending any real hope of a comeback.

Throughout the match, fans criticised the referee's decisions, with several penalties seemingly overlooked. In one instance, Ravens' Ronnie Stanley appeared to have held pass-rusher Chris Jones in the endzone - which should have been a safety, two points and a turnover - but no call was made.

With this win, the Chiefs are heading to their fourth Super Bowl in six years, where they'll face either the San Francisco 49ers or Detroit Lions.
