Dancing On Ice's Amber Davies unrecognisable as she transforms into Barbie

Amber Davies put on a jaw-dropping display on Sunday's Dancing On Ice as she underwent a Barbie makeover, where she received the highest score of the series.

During the latest episode, which was Movie Week, Amber, 27, ditched her brunette locks for a blonde wig as she transformed into Barbie from the hit summer film starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

Amber, who is paired with professional skater Simon Proulx-Sénécal, put on an incredible performance, leaving the judges seriously impressed. The duo received a total of 31 points, which is the highest score of the series so far, and left them top of the leaderboard.

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to react to the incredible routine, one person said: "Wow! @Amber_Davies7 Take. A. Bow! Absolutely brilliant on the ice! Oti summed it up, they dance “together” she doesn’t rely on him! Beautiful!! #DancingOnIce" while a different account put: "Yesssss @Amber_Davies7 you smashed it again @dancingonice #DancingOnIce."

Elsewhere, one show watcher put: "You can tell Amber is truly embracing this competition. After her fate on the show was revealed, Amber took to Instagram to thank fans. The former Love Island star said: "I have no words for what just happened…. THANK YOU for voting for us, thank you for supporting. Honestly this experience is just MAGICAL @simsenecal you will forever be my Ken!"

At the end of the show, it came down to the S Club 7 star and her skating partner Andy Buchanan against actress Claire Sweeney and her partner Colin Grafton.

This week there was no skate-off, and instead the judges' scores and viewers' votes were combined to determine who would be leaving the competition. Hannah said of her exit: "It would be sad to see anyone go!", adding she had a "fantastic" time and it had been "a joy" to be partnered with Andy.
