Paramount+ customers are fuming online as the streaming service appears to be down during a crucial football game between the Chiefs and the Ravens.

The malfunction seems to be hitting the East coast the hardest with some California residents experiencing outages as well, according to report map. Additionally, a few unlucky customers in middle America seem to be having issues with the platform too. Twitter users like Shortie smalls took to the app to air out gripes.

"Hey Paramount+ come on man the game is on," he wrote. The horrible quality of streaming(or lack of streaming) made me miss a touchdown? Come on, get it together."

Shortie continues saying the streaming problems have been occurring for months. The football fan then reveals that he's called and emailed the company to complain, to which Paramount+ said was "under review" without offering further details. User LFish chimed in on the thread, asking Paramount+ "what's going on?"

The company replied to L's comment and apologised for the inconvenience during a critical football game mere weeks from Super Bowl Sunday. "We apologise for the inconvenience and we'd love to help," the streaming service's Twitter account wrote, directing angry customers to shoot it a direct message for further assistance.

According to a chart uploaded on Downorisitjustme.com, there were about 10 reported outages on the streaming service just before 8 p.m last night. Further data shows fewer outages over the course of the night through the early afternoon—fans saw another problem at about 1:56 p.m, which lasted about 32 minutes. A surge of outages occurred about an 90 minutes later at 4 p.m today as the chart reported 58 complaints about the streaming shut down.

In September, Reddit user Corey tiger created a forum to gauge other's experiences with the streaming service after being subject to multiple crashes, which yielded similar accounts.

"Paramount Plus is by far the worst streaming service," user Baron KB replied. "Extremely slow to load, sits and spins with message 'Optimizing Video Playback', crashes, won't load. Some good content but considering dropping my subscription due to horrible web performance. Paramount, go pay Netflix to show you how to create a streaming app!!!"

Others soon chimed, venting their frustrations with the app. User Bigdaddyjlove1 wrote:

"Seriously about to cancel Paramount Plus. I paid for it because I wanted to support Star Trek, but it is literally unusable for me. It only opens all the way about 1 time out of 10. I have deleted and re-installed, cleared memory and cache, ets.. Just tired of it. Shouldn't be a thing."
