A little girl barely more than a toddler in age is facing a battle against cancer that has left her family completely distraught.

Ellora, known as Lola, was just two years old when she was diagnosed with form of leukemia at the end of last year. The terrible news was broken to her parents, Pheng and Kristine Xiong, on December 30 and she will now need extensive treatment for the next two years to make sure she has a chance of surviving the disease.

The brave youngster is described as 'bubbly' and with a 'contagious smile' who has taken to the hearts of the many people she's met in her short life so far. Lola also has a baby sister and her dad, who was the family's sole income provider, had to leave his job so he can support and care for his daughter along with her mum during this stressful time.

Now, a GoFundMe page has been set up by Andrew Xiong in Yuba City, California on behalf of the family to help with the ongoing costs of Lola's treatment and the family's basic daily needs. The heartfelt post reads: "On December 30th, 2023, Pheng and Kristine received a devastating news that there two year old miracle child, Ellora, was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (B-ALL). This news left them completely heartbroken, distraught and on their knees with God.
