Jeremy Kyle has welcomed his sixth child after two heartbreaking miscarriages.

The TalkTV host, 58, has shared the happy news that his wife Vicky Burton gave birth to their baby girl today. Jeremy and Vicky have introduced their second child together to the world after welcoming their son Oliver in 2020. The former Jeremy Kyle Show host also has four other children from previous marriages. He is a dad to Alice, 18, Ava, 16, and 12-year-old Henry with ex-wife Carla Germaine.

Vicky worked as their nanny before the star's marriage fell apart. The couple's exciting new arrival comes after they shared the heartbreaking news Vicky suffered a miscarriage. She previously told The Mirror it was a "devastating" experience. "People say, 'It's so early, it's just a bunch of cells', but as a woman you can't help but get attached to what's going on in your body," she said.

They endured further turmoil when Vic was booked in for a procedure to remove the foetus but they were told there was a heartbeat after all. After an agonising week’s wait, doctors confirmed the pregnancy wasn’t viable. This was the second miscarriage for the couple, who also lost a baby at nine weeks, before conceiving their son Oliver, now three. Jeremy recalled: "The second miscarriage was the hardest for Vic. Because we'd had one before, we tried not to get excited. It was an emotional rollercoaster."

Speaking to The Sun regarding the birth of his sixth child, Jeremy said today that his “brilliant” wife Vicky, 40, gave birth at 12.31pm this afternoon weighing 7lbs 6oz. "Mum and baby are doing great," he added. "Oliver's birth was difficult for Vicky four years ago, so it meant this time around had to be more planned. Honestly though, we're so lucky. Think about those people who spend their lives not being able to have kids. We're very blessed."

Jeremy was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2012, and underwent treatment including the removal of the affected testicle. Earlier this year, the TV host joyfully announced the news of his wife's pregnancy to The Sun, joking: "Vic says I need to set up a side business by bottling it because I'm 58 and I've only got one testicle, but everyone knows that anyway. It's a baby girl, she's due early next year, and we're over the moon as our family is complete."

The broadcaster added that his other children are really happy for him and Victoria, including eldest daughter Harriet who Jeremy joked thinks he needs "sectioning" for going through the newborn phase again later in life.

Vicky and Jeremy have previously shared how they were destined to have a baby girl. Vic had reiki healing to help her following the miscarriages and said she got a message from Jeremy’s late mum Nanette – telling her they would have a baby girl. She said to The Mirror: “The lady kept saying she could see pink and we were going to have a girl. She said, ‘I can see you holding a little girl’s hand with Oliver.

"The little girl has got a dress on that has bright red roses all over it. Jez’s mum’s favourite flower was a red rose – she had red roses everywhere in her garden. It felt like that was his mum saying there’s going to be a little girl coming along.” While Jeremy added: “Fast forward – and this will freak you out – we’ve moved to the coast and Vic’s ordered loads of duvet sets and pillows from Next and in the middle, unordered, was a pair of girls’ pink dungarees with red roses all over them. There weren’t any clothes in this order.” By this point, Vic was pregnant with their baby girl.
